Text version of the demo
- The board. Eight sample sites across southeast Wisconsin and northern Illinois sit on one live board, each showing OK.
- Watches. A Tornado Watch is issued. Six of the sites update to TORNADO WATCH with its expiration time.
- Warnings. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings reach the Janesville and Crystal Lake sites. Each card flashes yellow and shows the hail size (1.00 in) and wind gust (60 MPH), and a warning ticker scrolls across the top of the board.
- Tornado Warning. Elkhorn Clinic goes under a radar-indicated Tornado Warning. Its card flashes red and the alert chime sounds.
- Priority Stack. Switching to Priority Stack sorts the board by danger: Life-Threatening first, then Warnings, then Watches, with the clear sites folded into one line.
- Alert detail. Opening the Elkhorn card shows the warned area over radar, the Take Action instructions, detection and hail details, the Tornado Watch also in effect, and a live countdown to expiration.
- Cockpit. Cockpit view shows counts by severity, a radar map of every site with the warned areas outlined, and the team's chat as staff confirm everyone is sheltered.
Built for the people who can't afford to miss a severe weather alert
Emergency Operations Centers, dispatch centers, hospitals, academic institutions, and any other organization with sites scattered across a region need one place to watch every one of them at once, not a browser tab per location. WxSentinel was built to be that one place, surfacing the same detail meteorologists rely on: radar-indicated versus observed detection, damage threat tiers, and hail/wind estimates, live on a single shared board.

Straight from the National Weather Service
WxSentinel polls NWS data directly, with no aggregator in between. The dashboard refreshes every 10 seconds. Email and text alerts are sent on a separate cycle that runs every 10 minutes, so the board is always the fastest place to see a warning.
The detail meteorologists actually use
Radar-indicated vs. observed tornado detection, damage threat tiers, and hail/wind estimates, surfaced on the card, not buried in a report you have to click into.
Built to stay on screen
Designed to run as an always-on situational awareness board, a wall monitor, an ops center display, or a spare tab that never needs to be refreshed by hand.
Loud when it needs to be
Tornado Warnings, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings tagged Destructive, and Flash Flood Warnings tagged Considerable or higher trigger a distinct audible chime and full-screen flash. Every other warning and watch still updates the board, just without the noise.
Group sites the way you think about them
On Business and Enterprise, tag locations by district, route, building type, or whoever is on call for them, then filter the board down to just that group. Useful once you are watching more sites than fit on one screen.

A recipient is one email address or one phone number that receives alerts, not the same thing as a dashboard login. Someone can have a login without being texted, and can be texted without having a login. Need more than your plan allows? . Enterprise is sized to your contract.
The questions a purchasing review asks
Most of this is true on every plan, not just the big one. If you are the person who has to satisfy finance, IT or a purchasing office before you can sign up, here are the answers.
- Invoices and purchase orders. Enterprise is quoted and billed by invoice as standard. On any other plan, tell us what your purchasing process needs and we will work with it.
- Tax exemption, on any plan. Send us your certificate and we mark the account exempt, so no sales tax is charged. It is not an Enterprise-only thing.
- Data export on demand. Every location exports to CSV from Settings, on every plan, any time, with no ticket and no wait.
- Deletion with a safety net. Requested from Settings, actioned by us, and recoverable for 30 days in case the request was a mistake.
- Access is enforced at the database. Row Level Security, so one customer cannot read another's data even if a screen is wrong.
- We are not your warning source, and we say so. It is in the Terms in plain words. The National Weather Service and your emergency management office stay primary.
